White Noise started from a desire to see Chiang Mai through a cinematic lens without actually making a film.
Instead of dialogue, we used music. Instead of a set, we used the city.

We invited incredibly talented local musicians who often don’t have space to truly express themselves to improvise in underused public spaces that hold a quiet kind of beauty. It became a way of bringing life back into these forgotten corners of the city.

The project may look simple, but it tries to speak to two deeper themes: the struggle over the meaning of urban space through art, and the possibilities for artists to show who they really are beyond the limits of stage jobs or bar gigs.

เลยเปลี่ยนมาใช้ “ดนตรี” แทนบทสนทนา และใช้ “เมือง” เป็นฉากหลังของการเล่าเรื่อง

ผมชวนนักดนตรีท้องถิ่นที่เก่งมาก แต่ไม่มีพื้นที่ให้แสดงออกอย่างเต็มที่ มาร่วม improvise ในพื้นที่สาธารณะที่แทบไม่มีใครใช้งาน แต่มีความงามบางอย่างซ่อนอยู่ในนั้น
เป็นเหมือนการเติมชีวิตให้สถานที่เหล่านั้น

โปรเจกต์ดูเรียบง่าย แต่พยายามพูดถึงสองเรื่องใหญ่ การต่อรองความหมายของพื้นที่ในเมืองผ่านศิลปะ และความเป็นไปได้ใหม่ๆให้ศิลปินที่ยังไม่มีที่ให้แสดงออกในแบบที่ตัวเองต้องการจริงๆ
